We love your car the same as you do
Crystal Car Valet is the trading name of Crystal Car Service Limited — a Wellington detailing business built around one idea: treat every car like it's the owner's most expensive thing, and tell the truth about what can and can't be fixed.

How we work
Careful, methodical, no shortcuts
Our groomers are trained on the materials that make up a modern car — paint, clearcoat, plastics, leather, alcantara, glass, rubber seals. Each one needs a different product and a different technique.
That's why we use separate wash media for paint and for wheels, why we check the paint before deciding on clay or polish, and why we dry an interior properly instead of closing the doors on a damp cabin.
About the "most professional in Wellington" claim. We're deliberately not printing claims we can't support. What we'll say instead: this is our trade, we're insured, we do the work ourselves, and if a job isn't right we'll redo it. Anyone can say "best" — under the Fair Trading Act we'd have to be able to prove it.
Our promise
- Work carried out with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Guarantees Act requires
- If a result isn't right, we fix it
- Fixed prices, GST includedwith the GST added and shown at checkout, agreed before we take the keys
- Your keys, your car and your address kept secure and private
- Honest answers about what cleaning can't fix
Standards we hold ourselves to
The boring things that protect your car
Careful driving
Collections are driven by our own groomers on our own insurance, with the odometer recorded at handover, and the vehicle kept secure with keys logged in and out.
Honest quoting
Heavy soiling, mould and biohazard work gets quoted before we start. If the job changes, we ring you — the price never moves behind your back.
Low-water methods
Low-flow hand washing, controlled rinse, waterless interior work, and wash water that never runs into the stormwater network.
Where we came from
Crystal Car Valet has been detailing cars around Wellington since 2012, under Crystal Car Service Limited. The model hasn't changed: you book, we collect, we do the work by hand, and we bring the car back to your door — free, across the region including the Hutt.
We're putting the same business on a website that actually answers questions: real prices with GST includedwith the GST set out separately, honest limits, and the compliance stuff out in the open.
Work with us
Detailing is skilled, physical work and we're always interested in hearing from people who take pride in it. Send a short note about your experience to info@crystalcarvalet.co.nz — no CV formatting required.
